Another great site is Hipcamp. You start by typing in the place you want to visit and you'll instantly see a list of private residences you can rent from. There are also lists of campgrounds in that area but we prefer to book those directly through the campground's website.

Inside The Trailer:
- Always make sure everything is secure before starting your drive. Double check all the drawers, doors, tv is snapped back in, all fan vents are closed. Please make sure the water pump is off, AC/Heat is off and hot water heater (gas/electric) is off.
- On the subject of AC/Heat, Water Heater and Pump, please turn off when not in use. This will prevent overuse of the batteries and propane which will help ensure you have enough power for your trip.
- The fridge is not like your home fridge. RV fridges cool your items by circulating air. Sometimes when the fridge is extremely packed it struggles to remain cool since the air flow is blocked. It does its best against extreme heat outdoors, but please understand if some days it may not be a cool as others.
- Another tip on the fridge- when there is weight in the doors, sometimes the trim gets loose. This is a super easy fix by running your hand around the top and bottom of the black trim when the door is open and snapping it back into place.
- The Toilet- once again this is not like your home toilet. Use only RV Single Ply toilet paper and do not put anything else down the toilet. Serious damage is caused by normal toilet paper, tissues, paper towels and feminine items.
- The Shower- Gray Tanks fill up faster than you can imagine . We suggest “military” style showers when using the tank water. Get Wet, Pause Water, Soap Up, Rinse off. The shower head has a on/off button for your convenience.
- Do not operate personal appliances that use or run on more the 650 watts. It does not matter if you are on shore power or battery power, the trailer cannot handle more.
Outside The Trailer:
- Always double check the hitch, sway bars, trailer to truck connector, and signal lights before starting your drive.
- Double check that all stabilizer feet , Main front support, and Step are lifted before you begin to drive.
- Make sure the trailer is level and the front main support is set before you lower the 4 stabilizer feet. You cannot adjust the main front support once the smaller feet are down or it will break all the stabilizer feet.
- When shutting the door, listen for the two clicks. There are two locks and you will be able to hear them. If you are you driving or leaving the trailer unattended, please lock the front door and the storage compartment in the back.
- Only use Potable Water to fill up your tank. Never Use the water at the dump station. All parks label their potable water and if you are no sure most rangers and camp hosts can direct you. The water at the dump station is basically sewer water and not what you want to drink or shower with.
- If you disconnect, make sure you put the chalks on the tires and secure the lock on the trailer hitch.
Driving:
- Take speed bumps slowly and with care
- When pulling out of steep driveways, take the trailer at an angle to avoid bottoming out and scratching the hitch and the bumpers.
- Trailer stopping time is double that of a normal car, so always allow safe distance keep your on the few cars in front of you.
- If you store anything on bed while driving, please do not leave it against the aluminum wall. It will easily be scratch due to friction during driving.
- Always look up the towing laws when you enter a new state. Each have their own rules for speed and lanes. Towing in CA has a maximum speed limit of 55 mph and only allow driving in the right two lanes at all times (on the freeway). No carpool lane unfortunately.
Operational Information
Water: You will either be using Tank Water or City Water
Tank Water:
- First plug in water pressure regulator and water filter before attaching water hose. To use the tank water, turn on the pump located next to the kitchen sink. When not in use, we suggest turning off or you will constantly hear the pump cycling on and off.
- To fill up the tank water, use the locked inlet near the front of the trailer and use the gauge inside the trailer to see how full it is. You will view the Fresh Water Percentage when filling (Press button twice to stay on). Key is located on key ring.
- Gray Tank is used when using the sinks and the shower. This tank can fill quickly. A little life-hack is to use the bucket in the sink to wash dishes and once it is full, dump that water in the toilet.
- Black Tank is only filled when using the toilet. This tank is very slow to fill which is why we suggest the sink hack.
City Water:
- First plug in water pressure regulator and water filter before attaching water hose. When using City Water, you will not be using any of the water in the tank. You will not run the pump when you use city water.
- Before connecting the hose to the City Water Inlet, please run the water 10 seconds to get all the air out of the line. Once that is done, you can turn off the water, connect the line and fill the water tank.
- Connecting to City Water will not fill your fresh water tank. City Water bypasses the tank.
- Even though you have no limit on the amount of water you can use, make sure to keep an eye of the gray and black tanks. If you want to take a longer shower and you have full hookups, you can go outside and open the gray tank and shower into the sewer. We suggest closing the tank after, most campground sewers are not the most pleasant and the smell can sometimes sneak up when tank is left open.
Power: You will either be using Shore Power or Solar/Battery Power
Shore Power- When you are plugged into power at campground or using a generator.
- Use Power Cable and Surge Protector to connect to the 30 amp plug. We have a 50 amp adapter under the dinette seat if a 30 amp is unavailable.
- When connected to shore power you will use the wall outlets labeled “GFI” to operate your electronics.
- The AC and Microwave Oven will operate on shore power and generator.
- When you need the hot water heater, use the option with the electricity bolt to pull from shore power (~20 minutes).
Battery/Solar Power- When you are not plugged in to a campground or using a generator, you will be using the batteries and power from solar.
- When using the batteries you will use the wall outlets labeled “Inverter” to operate your electronics. You will need to turn on the inverter which is located near the sink. Once you no longer need the outlets, turn off inverter to save battery life.
- Lights and radio will operate on battery power. Only the AC and Microwave/Convection Oven will not work.
- When you need the hot water, use the option with the flame to pull from propane (~10 minutes).
Dumping:
- The main sewer hose is located under the trailer and the sewer elbow is in the back bumper.
- Only dump at dump stations, never empty tanks in nature.
- We suggest to always use gloves to handle the hoses and wash hands when done.
- Make sure the sewer hose is connected to trailer outlet and other end is secure into the dump station.
- Always empty the black tank first. Pull the lever to release and once you no longer hear water running, push it closed.
- Empty the gray tank second since this will help flush any unpleasant items left in the hose into the sewer and keep the experience more pleasant for you and the hose cleaner.
- Once complete, make sure all tanks are closed and detach in reverse order. Remove hose from trailer outlet and keep suspended in air to any residual water and waste exit the hose into the dump station. Once empty remove elbow and put in back bumper and return hose and make sure caps are secured.
Connecting and Disconnecting (Tips):
Full video of connecting and disconnecting available at www.tinventure.com/videos
Connecting :
- When connecting make sure the hitch is raised high enough so the ball can clear.
- Always put the security pin through the ball lock.
- Hook up the ball first and then raise the hitch to connect the sway bars. Be sure the chain is secured and the bar is fully clipped in.
- Lower the hitch once sway bars are connects and retract the main foot.
- Make sure chains, breakaway safety cable and power is connected to tow vehicle.
Disconnecting:
- Remove the chains, breakaway cable and power from the tow vehicle
- Put the tongue jack down and raise the hitch/tow vehicle to reduce pressure on sway bars. Carefully release the chains and remove the sway bars
- Lower down the tongue jack until see a little pressure on tow vehicle and then release the ball latch. Do not release when the hitch is raised, this will cause damage to your tow vehicle, hitch and tongue of trailer.
- Once the ball is released, raise the tongue jack so you can pull the truck forward and away from the trailer tongue.
- Secure the trailer with the hitch pin lock and coupler locks.
- Level out the trailer.
