Tushy Bidet

After visiting France and Bali, we quickly became accustomed to using a bidet. At first it seemed a bit foreign but then we realized how much cleaner the process is compared to conventional toilet paper. Another incentive to install bidets at our house was the 2020 pandemic and TP hoarders.

Haiku L Ceiling Fans

When it was time to install a ceiling fan in our computer room, we wanted something sleek, a bright integrated LED light to fill up the entire room and efficient to conserve electricity and save money. After extensive research, I found Haiku (by Big Ass Fans) actually makes the most efficient fan in the world!

Their patented motors allow for silent and efficient performance. The icing on the cake was the fact these fans work with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant (with optional wifi module) voice commands.

The hand-balanced air foils means no wobbling even at the highest speed setting.

When trying to determine efficiency, I went to the local hardware store and looked at all the ceiling fans under 52". I focused on Airfoil Efficiency (cubic feet per minute per watt) Energy Information At High Speed. I found a range from 35 cfm/watt up to 106 cfm/watt. By comparison, our 52" Haiku L has an astounding Airfoil Efficiency of 256 cfm/watt.
